How long or what is the statute of limitations for an employee to file a sexual harassment suit against a manager in their work place?

It depends on the state, but it is usually either 180 or 300 days.

For a federal claim, you must file a complaint with the EEOC within 300 days of the incident. Once the EEOC issues a right to sue letter you may commence a suit.

For a state claim, 3 years.

It's not that easy to prove sex harassment, though, and not all acts that might upset you are actionable or would yield the kind of relief that would make litigation worthwhile.
