Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in New York

my (a partner) told me that he was ''in love'' with me to which i responded that i was flattered, but uninterested and reminded him that he is married, my boss, and 25 years my senior. we continued to have lunch together almost every day and became close friends. 6 months later he kissed me for the first time. again, i told him that i did not want a relationship. we continued to be friends. during the next several months, for some reason, i bought into the relationship. our ''relationship'' lasted for about a year. a week ago, after returning from a much needed vacation i told him that that was it. it was over and any further advances would be unwelcome. today, one week later, he threatened to fire me. (i've always had good reviews, at least according to him). i know him very well and this is only because i've stopped having lunch with him and he is extremely jealous when i talk to other men in the office. i am at my wits end. he amkes working unbearable. i havn't filed a complaint but mentioned how he makes me uncomfortable to one other employee. do i have any claims against him? even if i am not fired? even though i ''gave in'' for a year?

This is a classic case of "quid pro quo" sexual harassment. The fact that you "gave in", despite the tremendous disparity in your power status, is irrelevant.

The law was designed for unwanted advances, not " no longer wanted " ones.
No probable cause.
