Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in New York

Sexual Harrasment and Discrimination

I have been working for a large restaurant corporation for about 3 years and I have had many situations that I feel I was discriminated against because I am a young women. I also have had numerous occasions where I have been sexually harrassed at the workplace by coworkers as well as customers. What kind of documentation or ''proof'' would be needed to start a case against the company. What do I need to start a case.

Most importantly, you must file a complaint with your employer's EEOC (Equal Employment)officer.

You should also contact the NYS Commission on Human Rights.
