underaged sexually harassed by boss
hi -- I am 17 years old.i am a female. My situation is that i was working at a real estate office as a secretary. My boss who is 53 years old was sexually harassing me . I am not that wealthy and i was working to go college and help maintain my family. The first time it started was when a girl who was working there too was not in the office. The boss suddenly touched my breast and then he asked me if i was offended, i said yes .I was terrified ,I didnt tell my parents, i was too scared.the other time he put his hand up my back and i told him i didnt like it . he said its part of the job. He asked me to be his girlfriend and he would pay me $200.per an hour.I said no . He kept harassing me so i decided to walk with a tape recorder to work. i got some of it on tape. Once he told me that he would pay me $1000.per an hour to have sex with him .He asked me alot of personal questions like (when was the last time i had sex or if i ever) i couldnt take it so i never went back to work. he also told me the only reason he hired me was because i have nice breast and nice lips.he also told me how many girls that work there he had sex with.i think he deserved to be punished for this.thank u for listening.

There a number of federal and state laws that prohibit this sort of outrageous conduct. You have several options to initiate action against your former employer. It should go without saying that speaking with an attorney comes first. Our office does accept contingency cases, in other words, there would be no up-front costs to you to pursue this case. You are welcome to call for a free consultation to discuss your options.

The conduct you described is illegal. Technically, it is known as "quid pro quo" sexual harassment. You are entitled under various state and federal laws to money damages from the employer as a result of this conduct.
Litigation, the process of going to court to recover money damages, is time-consuming and stressful, so if you decide to pursue a claim, you should be prepared for some unpleasantness. That said, it sounds like you and whatever lawyer you hire would be performing a public service by suing this man and his company.
Happy to discuss this further by e-mail or phone if you want to.
Good luck.
