Social Security Disability
I have direct deposit for my SSD. A creditor has threatened to freeze my account. Is this allowed? My bank said no. Social Security said yes.

A creditor cannot freeze a bank account which contains only social security money. It is exempt. However if the account contains other monies, it may be attached.
My advice is do not put any money other than social security into the account. And take out the money as soon as you can.
