Legal Question in Social Security Law in New York
Ssi???
we have been collecting a SSI check for my child, because my husband is disabled. when my child turns 18 will I lose that check? and would my husband check increase at all due to the lost of that child income?

How old is your husband, did he ever work? and what is his disability. He may also qualify for SSD. Overall, it depends on whether your son is on your husbands case, if so he may then at that poin t face some changes to his account but not necessarily an exclusion, you should contact your case worker for exact details.
