Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
16 year old speeding ticket
I moved back to NY from NC after 9 years. I tried to get my NY license, but I have a speeding ticket from 1991 that I have not entered a plea on. I honestly don't remember the ticket. What should I do?

Re: 16 year old speeding ticket
You have 2 options #1 plead guilty ,pay the ticket and get your license back immediately,#2 plead not guilty, request a trial. It is likely the officer will no longer be able to testify for a variety of reasons and therefore you will likely win the trial. Please contact my office for further clarification.
