Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
I am applying for a job in New York State, and it ask if I ever been convicted of any crime (felony or misdemeanor). Is DWAI consider a misdemeanor in New York State?

Driving while ability impaired by alcohol is a violation not a misdemeanor. Driving while ability impaired by drugs is a misdemeanor. Hope this helps.
