Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
Can a cop ticket you for failing to come to a stop at a stop sign if the sign has been recently changed from a yield sign to a stop sign and the white lines on the road still are the white arrows indicating a yield and not a sold white line indicating a stop. Also there was no stop ahead sign or warning that they has made a change?

This may be a good defense particularly because the "stop sign" pavement markings were not yet put in place. Plead not guilty and see what you can work out. Good luck.
