Because reckless driving (VTL 1212) is a criminal offense (misdemeanor), carries 5 points and can adversely affect your insurance rates, we strongly encourage you to fight this ticket. Further, given the serious nature of this particular charge, you should consult with (if not hire) an experienced traffic lawyer.
We can help. If you hire our law firm, our goals are to make the process of fighting your case as easy as possible and, of course, achieve the best possible result. You likely will NOT have to appear in court and we usually can get our clients a result with 0-points and no criminal record (past results do not guarantee future success, however).
We pride ourselves on simplifying the process, being accessible and responsive, patiently explaining in plain English, following through with our commitments and being honest (even with bad news).
How we fight your case and your prospects for success depend on in which court your case is pending. We will discuss this further during your free consultation. Rest assured, however, we will do our very best to achieve a successful outcome.
We will call you during our business hours to offer a free consultation and ticket analysis. Meanwhile, if you have not done so already, please fax or email us the front of your ticket and include your telephone number.
Thank you.
Matt
You are being charged with a misdemeanor which carries a possible jail sentence as well as 5 points on your license. It is advisable that you retain a competent criminal defense attorney. I represent many of these cases with great success. Most if not all clients receive NO criminal record as well as No Points on their license. You may contact my office @ 718-834-0087 for a free phone consultation.
