Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
If driver #1 stops his car and flags a pedestrian accross (the road) outside of a nearby crosswalk and that person is hit by car #2, is there a liability issue against the driver of car #1? Did they assume some sort of liability for the pedestrians safety?
