Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
DWI arrest
I have been offered, by the local DA, a reduction to Driving with ability impaired OR a reduction to 511.1a misdemeanor.
What possible consequences could result from a criminal conviction?

Re: DWI arrest
One charge is a violation the other is a misdemeanor. One however is a predicate in the event of a future DWI incident. Please call my office @7188340087 for a free phone consultation before you take a plea in this case. Incidently do you already have an attorney ,if so hasn't he/she explained the alternatives to you?
