Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
False police report
I was hit by a short school bus as it merged into my lane. I called the police. When the trooper arrived the other driver told another story to cover herself, as no witnesses had stoped. When the police officer filed the report he used her false story. What can I do if a policeman files a false report? I feel compleatly betrayed- thank you very much for your time

Re: False police report
All you have to do is go to the police station and file your version of the accident (I think the form is an MV-104).
NY is a no-fault state.
