Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York

Hi, my friend and I were on motorcycles and got pulled over for speeding. The trooper claimed he shot us in the rear with a laser gun and gave us both a ticket for 60 in a 45. I didn't have my motorcycle registration on me but gave him my license. On my ticket under the vehicle make, plate #, etc., he filled in all the information on my friends bike, not mine. My question is whether I can get this ticket thrown out or not? Or is he allowed to do this because I didn't have my registration on me and he just used my friend's make, model and year bike to fill it in? It's not like he couldn't look at my plate though. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
