Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
I hold a PA Drivers liscence. I got a speeding ticket while driving in NY in Erie County. How will it affect my insurance? This is my first speeding ticket in my driving career. Is it going to get points on my liscence?
I would rather not appear in court since it is 6 hours away from where I live.

Points from NY will not transfer to your PA license. However, it will be reported to PA and, as a result, your PA insurance company will find out about it and possibly can use it to raise your insurance rates.
