Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
illgally parked vehicle
If a car is ''parked illegally and obstructing traffic'' in a College parking lot and there is still room for 1 car to get buy, if a car hits the illegally parked car, does it still make the car that did the hitting 100% responsible for the damages of the illegally parked car?

Re: illgally parked vehicle
I am not certain if the illegal parking caused the accident. Whether the car was illegally parked or not, in the same space, the accident does not appear to be caused by the parked car but rather the moving car.
Good Luck
