Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
Missed Court Date
I missed a court date today in New York state. The crime I was suppose to be going to court for was a simple expired expection sticker on my car. What is going to happen?

Re: Missed Court Date
You may have a warrant out for your arrest. If so, they can and will bring you in for processing and you can be held. More likely you can have your license and registration suspended or revoked.
Fortunately this is a simple thing to handle. Just go to the court you were supposed to be in and pull the warrant by showing up. They may ask you to put up a bond (though that is unlikely) so bring a few hundred dollars with you. You will get it back at the end of the case less 3%.
Good Luck.
