Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
I have a NJ license but am now residing in NY. Was waiting on my new social with my married last name to change my license to NY driver's license but now received notice that my license will be suspended on May 9th, 2011. Filed for an appeal, in the meantime can I get my NY license?

NY and NJ have reciprocity with regard to license information. You fail to state the reason for the suspension or the length. These would be helpful in determining if you are eligible for a license or conditional license.
