Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
PA driver speeding in NY
I was ticketed for 79 in a 65 around Glen Falls NY. The officer told me, which made no sense to me, that if I pled NOT Guilty, that it would be knocked down to the equivelent of a parking fine, however I'd have to return to Glen Falls to do it. That is 6 hours away and close to 400 miles. The fine I was given has no fine amount to pay should I plead guilty.
What would happen if I just IGNORE this fine.

Re: PA driver speeding in NY
If you ignore it, the NY DMV will suspend your driving privileges in this state. They will also notify PA, and your license there will be suspended.
If you hire us now, our fee to handle this is $500. If you wait until you're suspended, our fee would go up to $750.
It's not worth it to hire us for the fine (max is $355 or $385 depending on when, and you would probably be fined less). However, the speed would be reported to PA. You should check with your insurance agent to see if an out-of-state speeding ticket can affect your rates.

Failure to answer the ticket will result in a suspension being issued in NYS which is reciprocal in PA. Call my office @7188340087 for a free phone consultation,it is possible I can handle this for you without you being present in NY.
