Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
i was pulled for operating while registration susp/revoved on 4-9-2010
my plates were confiscated and vehicle towed anyway found that the suspension was for an insurance lapse in 2-07-2009 thru 2-26-2009 also had officer check license (no problem with that ) so what kind of trouble am i in (misdemeanor 1st offence)

If you show that you paid the DMV fine for lapse and have valid insurance should be pled to a traffic violation. Just need to negotiate points and fine
