Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
ok i was pulled over by a sheriff for speeding and was ticketted,but when i got home and actually looked at it i find a mistake. you see my name just like on my license is: jason p. LaRoche, and yet the ticket is written out to :paul p. LaRoche.so my question is , is this ticket valid or will it be dismissed? thank you. jason p. LaRoche

If it contains other information that is correct such as your motorist ID #,the proper registration and description of car etc. then it will likely not be dismissed for the ministerial error.
