Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
I received a ticket for going 83 in a 65 on I 87. I told the police officer that I was trying to work with my cruise control when I started a sneeze attack and was not aware of my speed. The officer seemed out of it. He reported my address incorrectly even after verifying it with me and even said my car was blue even though it is charcoal grey. What can I do? This is my first speeding ticket. I am also a New Jersey resident and would have to travel 4 hours to go to court.

In most courts an attorney can appear for you through an affidavit. Also, the court may dismiss the tickets based on an insufficiency motion. If you wish to discuss your options further you may call the office at 516 858 0075. Good Luck
