Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
after recieving a 1229c3a, seat belt ticket in nyc, i looked online to pay the ticket and couldn't find it. the 60 days have expired and i recieved a letter from dmv telling me they cant find the ticket and say that i must have entered it wrong, or enetered it at the wrong site. neither are the case. is this ticket still valid or am i free from paying.?

If you fail to answer or fail to pay, even on a seat belt ticket it is a suspension of your driving privileges and an additional fee and possible additional consequences. You should check with Albany or hire an attorney to check with the Traffic Violations Bureau in the City.
