Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
Red Light Camera
I received a ticket for going through a red light. My car was photographed and the ticket was mailed to me. I have been told to ignore this ticket as there is no way to tell if I ever received the ticket. What should I do?

Re: Red Light Camera
I don't know whom provided that advise you stated in your question but that is not the best advise. If you ignore the ticket in time you may suffer consequences such as a suspended license and/or an arrest warrant may be issued for your arrest. You should answer the ticket. Also, you may want to consult the advise of an attorney in your area prior to court.
Good luck.
