Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
seat belt ticket appearance
I just received a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt. On the ticket, the box marked is ''must appear in person.'' I have no other violations and am wondering must I appear or can I mail the fine in.

Re: seat belt ticket appearance
Where is the ticket returnable?
Normally this ticket by itself can be disposed of without appearing in court.
