Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York

I just got a seat belt ticket in Brooklyn NY 1229-c3a but I was wearing my seat belt, what he might of seen was me moving the strap so I could open my jacket. When the officer got to my door he stated he saw me putting it on, then he took my license and drove off leaving me to wait 15 minutes for him to return with his partner who I guess filled out the ticket. I can prove he left seemed very mad when he got to my door maybe seeing I had my seat belt on. By the way I was never driving more than 15 mph and he could not have been on my drivers side since other cars were there.

All cases go to trial in NYC, so unless you fight it you are found guilty 100% of the time. You can either represent yourself or retain counsel to do so for you. Best of luck.
