Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
My son was driving home from college with a expired license in NY and we live in NJ. He was pulled over given a ticket and along with that was issued another ticket for speeding. He was doing 84 in a 65 MPH Zone. Please advise how to plead, what it will cost, and what the points will be on his license. He is 21. Should he go to the appointed court date? And yes, he renewed his license. It was up on Feb 22 and the ticket was given on March 11,2011.
