Pleading guilty to a 6 point speeding ticket is never a good idea. The fine structure generally runs around $150 + an additional $93 surcharge, with an additional $300 in civil penalties.

Most jurisdictions in the state will offer a plea bargain that will be substantially easier on your wallet. Good luck.

Before doing anything do NOT plead guilty, you can always change your plea before the appearance date.Send up a plea of NOT GUILTY. Do NOT ask for a supporting deposition , it is not necessary
