Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
Speeding Ticket
I received a speeding ticket for doing 88 in a 55 mph zone. Not true but that's not the question. The ticket says the car is a 2007 when it is in fact 2008 and the ticket doesn't list a registration expiration date. I once heard that the ticket can be beaten based on techinicalities like these. Is this true?

Re: Speeding Ticket
The rumors you heard are not true. You have a serious charge excess speed more than 30 mph over the posted speed limit. You can have your license either suspended or revoked for a conviction of this charge. Without more details I can not offer specific advise, you may however contact my office @7188340087 for a free phone consultation.
Re: Speeding Ticket
Tickets can be beaten on technicalities, but it's a very tricky approach. The max fine for 88/55 is $1135. You should consider hiring a lawyer.
Please note that we do not handle tickets in Long Island or New York City. Only upstate, from Westchester and Rockland north. So if you got your ticket in NYC or LI, I'm not your guy.
