Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
Speeding Ticket
I was ticketed doing 74 mph in a 30 mph zone in Manhattan. This was in a nearly half-mile long underground tunnel (First Avenue underpass) where there are no speed limits posted. The officer wrote ''Speeding unposted
zone''. I have had a clean record for the past 7 years and know this is a possible suspension because it is 44 mph over the limit. Do I have a chance of a reduced fine/points based on the above info?

Re: Speeding Ticket
This offense being comitted in Manhattan, is under the jurisdiction of the NYS TVB and in those agencies, there is no plea bargaining.Your license is in jeopardy, I can not remove or save points or the fines or the driver assessment fees, but I likely can help in not having your license suspended.
