Re: speeding

You should hire an attorney because the speed you are charging with driving, if sustained at trial, will cause your driving privileges to be

suspended by the judge or motor vehicles. You should give me a call.

Re: speeding

First, you are not the first to be in this situation. Many years ago my brother was charged with driving 95 in a vehicle that I KNOW could not exceed 75. This is what the police do. This is why we have lawyers to defend people.

Second, this is a ticket you may want to fight. Aside from the negative feelings towards this injustice and the impact on your insurance, this will have a big impact on your driving privileges. A lawyer can help you with that element.

A lawyer also has a 'bag of tricks' or legal tactics that can be marshalled to attack the claims of the police officer. While his testimony can be very influencial, it can be undermined. For example, the means used to measure your speed can be questioned.

In this case, I would start with some certification of the top speed of the vehicle. A mechanic's report would be the way to go with this.

As you can see, I recommend that you hire a competant lawyer for this action.

You are welcome to a consultation for no fee.
