Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
Speeding - Violation Code Missing
I got a ticket for speeding 49 miles at 30 miles zone. However, the office did not fill in the violation code or write any description/Narrative. He only put down the MPH and in MPH ZONE. Do I have enough ground to dismiss the ticket? Thanks for your advise

Re: Speeding - Violation Code Missing
In Traffic Violation Bureau jurisdictions the summons need only indicate the time, date, place of offense and the offense alleged to be valid. Because you have the right of confrontation and cross-examination at the hearing, this summons is sufficient. You may contact my office@7188340087 for a free phone consultation to discuss your options.
