Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
speeding violation
If someone with a New Jersey driver license receives a speeding ticket in Illinois and New York....Does the New Jersey DMV and auto insurance see those violations? Also, does the New Jersey DMV gets notified of those violations by the out of state traffic entity?

Yes, the National Driver License Compact facilitates the exchange of information related to driving offenses among the member states.
NY, NJ and Ill are all members of the compact.
Thus, these citations will become a part of your NJ driving record. You will be assessed 2 points for each violation.
