Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
Ticket for double parking
I got a ticket for double parking but the vin number was not listed on the ticket and the color of my car was incorrect on the ticket. The color of my car is classified as red and the officer listed brown as the color. Also, two other vehicles were double parked on the same street. I actually parked right behind one of the double parked cars. That's why I thought it was ok. What are my chances of beating the ticket? Thanks in advance.

Re: Ticket for double parking
The fact that the vin number is missing is the only possibility of beating this ticket. That is one of the required elements. The issue of the color is not going to get you anywhere. I would try pleading not guilty based upon failure to provide the proper information and see where it goes.
Just my opinion.
