Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
I just got a ticket for expired inspection (brought the car in but it failed). The ticket doesn't list a fine and it lists the appearance time as 1:00 AM when the court is, clearly, closed. Incidentally, this is in New York. What do I do? I'd pay the fine if I knew what it was or not pay it if the 1:00 AM time gets me off.

The AM time will not get out of the ticket as it is not fatal to the prosecution. A minor trivial error is not an not automatic dismissal.
