Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
I have a ticket for insurance violation but I had insurance. now the dmv is taking my license for a year. is there anything I can do?

It all depends upon the time sequence of events. There is a statute of limitations to appeal . If you had proper insurance at the time of the incident & the appeal period has not expired ,you may be able to avoid the revocation. If not there may be a possibility of a restricted license enabling you to drive under certain conditions. Contact my office @ 718-834-0087 with all the information & I will advise accordingly.
