Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
unable to pay fine
What if, after receiving the judgement, I am unable to pay the entire fine at that time? I'm not talking about a serious infraction or a lot of money, maybe one or two hundred. Will they go ahead with the license suspension or give me a couple of weeks to pay?

Re: unable to pay fine
It depends on the court. What court is the judgment being entered at?

It depends on the Court. It would take longer than 2 weeks to suspend your license, but the Court could impose jail time instead
