Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
What is VTL and 1115A please?
Got a ticket the other day for running over a cone dividing the toll lanes at a bridge toll both, all because I was in the cash lane and I wanted to switch to the EZpass lane. I was driving the rental car which is a minivan and bigger than my daily ride which is a smaller 4dr sedan. Got stopped by a police and gave me a yellow ticket saying 'in violation of 1115A, and he also checked the 'VTL' item. Not sure how big this ticket is... Thanks guys.

The VTL SEC1115a is a violation for interfering with a traffic control device and is a 2 point violation. For more info please feel free to contact my office @ 7188340087.
