Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York

I need help, two years ago I got into a DWI. No one was badly injured and got into a fender bender. I just started a new job and my job told me there was a warrant out for my arrest which i didnt understand why it was still there if i went to court. I went back and supposedly I missed a date i didn't know i had. so I want to start my life over and get my license back. So i went back to court last week and then this past tuesday. I told the judge I couldnt afford an attorney and he said it was my own responsibility to find one even after i told him i cant afford one. So now I have to find an attorney that i can afford. Can anyone help me find an affordable attorney or answer my question on What I can do? I'm so confused and just want to start my life over.
