Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
What is New York State Vehicle Code Section 407D? I received a peculiar traffic ticket for "unsafe backing" but I have been unsuccessful finding the New York code online, neither can I find any references to this violation on the web (per Google and FindLaw).

It appears that you were charged with a moving violation. If this is a handwritten ticket, the writer may have written in the wrong code.
