In 1958 my father was honorable discharged . while he was in the service he was injured on the aircraft carrier. his face was busted and he received radiation to his face and eye. Is there any compensation for my father.

Thank you for your inquiry!

Your father's situation really depends on a variety of extra facts that your e-mail is missing. Feel free to contact me (and/or have your father contact me) and we can discuss the situation further and see what options he may have to resolve this issue. I would be happy to arrange a time to speak (a free consultation) so that I can initiate the call and save you and your father long distance charges.

Best.

His first stop needs to the be veterans administration to see what he is entitled to as a former service member. It's hard to sue the military, and you need a specialist at doing that (rare, admittedly). The key is that this was from 1958 and chances are any statute of limitations has probably long run out.
