Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York
10 people were named as beneficiaries in a will. 1 was given a trust to be distributed by a brother or sister if they were willing and able. Now the sister won't take part in the distribution and the brother is being very stubborn. Does the beneficiary who should receive the trust have any recourse. The monies have been distributed to the other nine beneficiaries. We are in New York.

That's right. If the trustees are not acting properly, the beneficiary may take them to court.
