Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

ok so im a 22 yr old living at home trying to move away from a verbally abusive father...i know i have a trust fund from his mother (deceased) so how can i access this in order to move out since hes making me leave and i also need medical attention? please help, hes caused me so much mental anguish and im sick of being broke AND depressed. i clearly know little about legalities.

You should contact the Trustee to determine what your rights are. If the Trustee is uncooperative, you should retain an attorney to make inquiry on your behalf.

You should obtain a copy of the trust. Once you have a copy, you would know your rights under the trust.
