Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York
accounting
My mother passed away 3 1/2 months ago she left a will with a trust so nothing has to go through probate. The house has still not been put on the market. My brother is the executor and has been very evasive and hard to contact. I would like a copy of the acounting since he got power of attorney. Is this possible? and how to I go about getting this?

Re: accounting
Do you have a copy of the Trust agreement?
Was the house deeded to the Trust?
I assume that your brother is the Successor Trustee of your mother's trust.
If your brother is not forthcoming, I suggest you consult an attorney.
