Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York
My aunt died many years ago, leaving a will which made me executor of her will and gave me 50% of her estate. the other 50% went to my 3 nephews. the will was probated in nyc and the estate distributed. no mention in will about a small interest in a ground lease in florida. this came to light a few years late. at this time i would like to sell this asset and distribute the money as specified in her will. question do i need approval to sell from my 3 nephews before i sell? thanks

No. Make sure you have not been discharged as executor by court.
