As beneficiaries of a trust , are we entitled to ask for a copy of the assets assigned to the trust?

You may inquire of the trustee as to the assets in the trust. I am assuming that the trust has vested; that is, that you now have rights to receive assets from the trust. If that is so, and the trustee is uncooperative, you may request an accounting.
