Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York
My Brother and I are Co-Executors of my mother's estate. My brother recently passed away. Does this make me sole executor or does my brother's executorship go to his eres?

You become the sole Executor unless the will provides for alternates.

I agree with Arnold, Unless the Will specifies otherwise and names a successor to an Executor who dies, resigns or becomes disabled, you serve alone.
