Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

This is a complicated question.

My family and I are contesting a will for the estate of my uncle, estimated at 1.8 million. His boyfriend manipulated him into leaving everything to him and deleting the entire family.

I hired a PI as my uncle died in a house fire, autopsy offically stated cause of death as a heart attack. The PI stated that somethings where suspicious about the fire, but this was never investigated.

I am contesting the will against the person, but I am now suspecting that my uncle may have been murdered. How do I request this to be investigated? Will this complicate contesting the will?
