Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

I went to court in January to get money released for my child's needs from my wife's will that is being controlled by my brother in law. After delays My lawyer promised that I can get money by the end of June . Now the opposing lawyer states he is out of the country until July 17th? How long can they go on without awarding me the money and what are my options to complain about it., I have an attorney and there is an attorney representing my daughter.

You say you have an attorney. Why are you posting a question here? You need to be frank with you lawyer and tell him or her you need them to communicate more frequently about what is happening with your case.
