Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

A deceased man in NYS who died without a will. He had no children, no spouse and no surviving parents. He has one surviving sibling and nephews of a deceased sibling who passed away four years earlier.

Is his asset get inhered only by his only surviving brother and the decedent nephews of the deceased sibling have no right to inherit? or his asset will be inhered by all (the surviving sibling and the decedent nephews of the deceased sibling)?

Thanks.
